The range, briefly
CHI is one of the two residential lines we carry, and the range is wide enough that most people need help narrowing it rather than expanding it.
Carriage house and overlay carriage. The traditional look. On a standard carriage house door the detail is pressed into the panel. On an overlay door, cladding is physically applied over the face, so the detail stands proud and the door reads much closer to a real swing-out carriage door. That difference is visible from the street and it shows in the price.
Contemporary and flush. Clean, flat faced doors with minimal detail, often with a long horizontal window band. These suit newer builds and anything with a modern elevation.
Raised and recessed panel. The conventional choice, and there is nothing wrong with it. Well proportioned, widely available and the most economical way to a tidy result.
Planks, Shoreline, Sterling, Skyline and Timeless. Variations in panel profile, texture and finish. Some of these read as woodgrain, which is a common request on houses with timber or stone elements.
Full view aluminium
Worth calling out separately because it is a different product rather than another style. Aluminium frames with glass panels, used on dealerships, showrooms, car washes, restaurants and increasingly on residential builds where somebody wants light in the garage.
They look excellent. On a heated building the glazing specification matters, so that is a conversation to have before ordering rather than after.

Choosing
The garage door is often the largest visible surface on a house. Colour, panel style, window layout and hardware change the result considerably, and the difference between a well chosen door and a default one is not subtle. We would rather walk you through the options properly than have you pick from a thumbnail.

What is the difference between a carriage house and an overlay carriage door?
A carriage house door has the look pressed into the panel. An overlay carriage door has actual cladding applied over the door face, so the detail is physically raised. The overlay looks closer to a real swing-out carriage door and costs more.
Are full view aluminium doors practical in Saskatchewan?
On the right building, yes. They are common on dealerships, showrooms, car washes and restaurants where daylight and visibility matter. On a heated building we would talk to you about glazing before you order.
